Every spring sees a boom in the housing market. Almost without fail, the market seems to hold its breath through the winter until springtime, when suddenly it is flooded with homes for sale and buyers with mortgage offers.
So what happened this year? The media seemed to be happy knocking the British economy. Interest rates were in a state of flux. The market too was still uncertain following the pandemic and the new ‘work-from-home’ trend.
